Malevolent Spirits: Monogatari Season 1 World Setting
Before we move on to the main course, let’s examine the appetizers, and what could be more appropriate than a study of the prologue? Tsukumogami are wandering spirits that occasionally visit the living world, and the same clan is responsible for sending them to the spirit realm.
Malevolent Spirits: Monogatari Season 1 Plot & Recap
Let’s proceed to the storyline of Malevolent Spirits: Mononogatari now that the plot has been established. Our story begins with a member of the Saenome clan exorcizing a Tsukumogami while requesting its permission.
The demon is then cast out by the grandson of the old man, a young man named Kunato Hyouma.
Hyouma also exorcize the ghost, but without asking the demon for permission, he simply hits the spirit as though he is letting go of his rage. After receiving a reprimand from his grandfather, he is now assigned to a section of the clan where humans and Tsukumogami live.
Hyouma is surprised by the existence of both clans, considering his older sister and brother were killed by a spirit. Hyouma ultimately chooses to travel there to determine whether or not it’s doable. When he arrives, he is greeted by ghosts working under the supervision of a high school student named Botan Nagatsuki.
In Botan’s absence, Hyouma challenges the intentions of the spirits, which causes one of them to flip, resulting in a duel between the two that was interrupted by other spirits when Botan returned from school.
How will the lives of these individuals now unfold in a world where a girl is surrounded by Tsukumogami and a boy despises them?
Fascinating, yes? Yet, watching anime is significantly more entertaining. Since the concept of ghosts and those who exorcize them has become mainstream, we were initially hesitant to watch this anime, but after the first episode we were fascinated, and it was well worth our time.
Aside from the plot, the author did an excellent job striking a balance between action and humor. It will almost feel natural and fluid, which is rather uncommon for this genre of animation.

Malevolent Spirits: Monogatari Season 2 Cast Comments
Gi troop horse – Takeo Otsuka
Nonetheless, I was happy. As I learned the results at the workplace, I lifted both fists instinctively alongside the manager who reported me. I am pleased to play the character of Gihyoma in this production.
Nagatsuki Botan – Yuki Takada
I’ve always liked reading shounen manga, so I assumed I’d be able to participate in it one day. When I was notified that my appearance had been picked, I was really astonished, but I was also thrilled because it marked the realization of a major goal.
Haori Sawashiro – Miyuki
I will be in charge of Haiti’s voice, and my name is Miyuki Sawashiro. The anime “Monogatari” is filled with enticing characters with intense eyes. I was immediately captivated by the source material, so I am delighted to be a member of the animation team.
Nagi Chikahiro – Kobayashi
I was ecstatic to learn over the phone that I had been chosen for the role of Nagi. It’s not often that I get to portray an irritable character like Nagi, so I felt it was quite novel.
In addition, I got the unique opportunity to see the cast members before the dubbing, and I was ecstatic to meet everyone who performed the role of the wedding furniture.
